Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is a mercurial music producer and singer, who combines folk gospel, soul and R&B in her signature blend. She's appeared on Broadway as well as at the Democratic National Convention and in European festivals and clubs. Sunshine has been born Denise White. Although she's located in Atlanta Her roots lie in Chester Pennsylvania. There she first began to develop as a musician by playing and singing at church. She was a student at Spellman College in Atlanta where she began her journey to become a musician within the city's R&B scene. The Fighting Temptations The first track to include her voice was Stalk You A house 12 released exclusively in Japan It has since been remixed numerous times by producers and is a staple of her live sets. The singer has also provided her voice in The Fighting Temptations' soundtrack. In 2005, she became the lead keyboardist for Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. In 2007 Grammy and Tony Award-winning vocalist Jennifer Holliday sought her out to serve as the director of choral for the stage production of Dreamgirls during the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta. Sunshine was at the center of attention for all of the country during four performances per day at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine then went on to be selected to perform for the President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
