Anna Van Hooft is a Canadian actor from Canada. She is famous for her character in the Princess Aura 2007 TV adaptation from Flash Gordon. She also had a role in Trollz as voice actor. Anna Grigorievna Semenovich, a Russian model and singer-actress who was a competitive skating ice artist in the past, is best famous for her portrayal of Princess Aura on Flash Gordon. At the beginning of her professional career, she formed a partnership with Maxim Kachanov. In 1994, they competed at the Goodwill Games where they placed 5th. She teamed up along with Vladimir Fedorov in 1995. They both have won the Finlandia Trophy two times and competed in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. The highlight of their collaboration was finishing 15th at the World Figure Skating Championships in 1998. Semenovich as well as Roman Kostomarov teamed up for one season in 1999 after their relationship had ended. Semenovich won the 2000 Russian Bronze Medal alongside Kostomarov and was also a participant in the 2000 European Figure Skating Championships in addition to the 2000 World Figure Skating Championships. Their partnership was also prosperous, as they received the Finlandia Trophy on two occasions as well as competing at the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. They were able to accomplish more however the highlight of their collaboration was when they were ranked 15th at the 1998 World Championships.
